Contact with Regional Chapters/Chapter Leaders: 

NEW:  ECMHCA has been joined by another chapter - in Tallahassee, the State Capitol - led by Nancy Ryer Bass and a new Board of Directors. 

Contact with Counselor Education Programs in Region:

New: Contact with UWF has decreased substantially with resignation of UWF President after sustained conflict with Gov. De Santis. Focus now is to rebuild some channel for communication; in contact with I/O Psych Professor. NWF Regional Director attended 1st BBMHCA (Big Ben Mental Health Coubselors Assoc.) with guest lecturer, CEU's, election of officers and full agenda.

Actions Taken to Create/Host/Promote Regional Trainings (reminder: 2 regional trainings are required per year):

 Rescheduling ECMHCA revival meeting in fall 2025 & seeking a speaker with a contemporary and wildly interesting presentation.

Actions Taken to Promote Webinars and Annual Conference: 

New: Will use correspondence and revival fall meeting in revitalization of ECMHCA, & for promotion of FMHCA + Webinars.

Other Actions Taken to Increase Membership:

2025- 2026 dues will be reinstated at lower level, included in August Meeting

Support Requests/Needs From Board/FMHCA Office (raise any needs/wants you may want.)

ECMHCA will solicit help from Board for possible speakers for 3in fall or last quarter 2025 with preferable topics re: implications of Medicare and practical practice; as well as a possible presentation of "mandatory CEU's.
