Bylaws Committee

Reviews proposed amendments to the Bylaws and related resolutions submitted by members, committees, or Board of Directors, and makes recommendations accordingly. The Bylaws shall be available to members and the public at all times through the FMHCA website.

Ethics Committee

Receives and reviews matters related to the ethical conduct of FMHCA members, including ethics consultation requests and formal complaints. All such matters shall be governed by the FMHCA Ethics Policy. The committee shall make recommendations to the Board of Directors as appropriate.

Government Relations Committee

Leads FMHCA's legislative advocacy efforts, monitors state-level legislation and regulatory issues affecting the mental health counseling profession, and keeps members informed of relevant advocacy opportunities.

Military Committee

Promotes awareness of the mental health needs of veterans, military personnel, and their families, and shares information with members about available programs and opportunities to serve this population.
