Description: Clinicians are invited to participate in this webinar if they have been feeling burned out and overwhelmed. Attendees will be provided with practical tools they can immediately implement. This presentation goes deeper than a discussion on self-care.

  1. Define Compassion Fatigue and explain how COVID-19 is impacting mental health professionals.
  2. Identify symptoms of compassion fatigue attendees may be experiencing.
  3. Develop a self-care plan to help manage symptoms of compassion fatigue and improve the quality of life.

About the Presenter:
Natasha is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida, a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional (CCFP). She received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, Sarasota. She works with adolescents and adults in her role as an EAP counselor for Ginger Behavioral Health. Her previous experience includes 15 years as an educator as well as community mental health work. She has presented on various topics including Destigmatizing Seeking Mental Health Care, Compassion Fatigue and Effective Techniques for Working with Teens. She is especially passionate about working with clients who are struggling with trauma, grief, depression and anxiety.
