SERVING OUR ELDERLY VETERANS SUMMIT
Veterans Counseling Veterans (VCV) invites Florida Mental Health Counselors Association members, mental health professionals, veterans, caregivers, families, and community partners to attend our Serving Our Elderly Veterans Summit.
Saturday, October 10, 2026
Orlando VA Medical Center – Lake Nona
13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL
As our veteran population ages, families are facing increasingly complex challenges involving mental health, dementia, caregiving, VA benefits, long-term care, and connecting with available resources.
We are also bringing attention to two groups that can easily be overlooked: families caring for veterans living with dementia and veterans who are themselves caring for a spouse, parent, or other loved one with dementia.
The summit will bring together representatives and resources from the Orlando VA, Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs, Veterans Service Organizations, caregivers, mental health professionals, and community partners.
VCV’s role is simple: “Connectors, not caregivers.” We want veterans and their families to know where resources are available and help connect them to the organizations that can assist.
