Description: Out with the business cards and in with the Google Adwords. In the past, therapists could hang a sign on their door and pass out some business cards and they would be successful.  Now, it takes strategic steps in order to build a smart practice that is both enjoyable and profitable.  This course is designed for therapists who are interested in starting, growing and thriving in private practice.  The need for mental health services is very high and private practitioners are in a unique position to offer a variety of high quality mental health services to their community.  This workshop is aimed at anyone who is interested in starting a practice or has been in practice and wants to create a sustainable and thriving practice.   

Learning Objectives:

  1. Create 3 business goals that will lead to a thriving practice
  2. Identify 3 marketing strategies that create high quality leads
  3. Describe the formula to set you up for the future you want financially
  4. Implement 2 long-term strategies to create multiple streams of income

About the Presenter: Amanda Patterson, LMHC, CAP, NCC

Amanda Patterson is a private practice consultant who helps therapists create business and marketing plans. She’s the owner of a group practice, Caring Therapists of Broward & Palm Beach with two locations in South Florida. She’s also the founder of My Private Practice Collectivean online community for therapists in private practice with over 15,000 members. Amanda is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Addictions Professional and National Certified Counselor, primarily working with children, teenagers and young adults. In 2017, she was awarded Mental Health Counselor of the Year by the Florida Mental Health Counseling Association.
