About the Presenter:

Demenna Milord is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, public speaker, and an Anxiety & Fear Relief Coach. She assists adults, families, and couples to increase peace in their lives, by using practical and healthy coping skills to manage feelings of anxiety and depression. Demenna believes that the Adult Children of Immigrant Parents population is in need of increased support to assist in continued life transitions. After spending the last 8 years working in settings such as community mental health/mobile crisis, psychiatric hospitalization, and substance abuse, Demenna has been able to help people from different walks of life gain back something very important to them - peace, the ability to handle stress well, and healthier family relationships. Demenna graduated from Palm beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, FL with a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology. Demenna is also currently a member of the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association (FMHCA), a chapter of the American Mental Health Counselors Association.
