Working with small children can be difficult when counseling is in person. Now we are expected to provide counseling to kids when we cant be physically present with them? Counselors everywhere are struggling to engage small children through a computer screen or even worse...over the phone!!! This workshop will provide you with exciting and innovative techniques that you can provide to elementary aged children via online.

About the Presenter:

Erica Whitfield is the Founder of Positive Development, LLC a dynamic practice that provides mental health counseling in Jacksonville Florida. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 12 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Erica graduated from the University of North Florida with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. Her previous board affiliations have been with Mental Health America and the Northeast Florida Mental Health Counselors Association. Erica currently serves on the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association Board. She has experience providing therapy with local community organizations that have helped over 130,000 families through mental health counseling. Erica believes in the importance of self acceptance and the role this plays in positive change.
