Description: QST is the 12-hour required course for LMHC, LCSW, LMFT to become a qualified supervisor in their perspective field of licensure.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Become familiar with the definition of supervision & the major models of supervision.
  2. Gain skills to develop a personal model of supervision, drawn from existing models of supervision and from preferred styles of counseling/therapy.
  3. Become familiar with the ethical, legal and regulatory issues of supervision.
  4. Understand the role of evaluation in supervision.
About the Presenter:

Scott has been a QS since 2018. He just recently completed the 2nd year teaching this course at the FMHCA annual conference. He started in private practice in Orlando in 2015 as a solo practitioner and loves that along with qualified supervision.

Cancellation Requests:

All cancellation requests must be made in writing and confirmed via the email account used during registration. Only the original applicant can request a cancellation.

Please be advised that FMHCA reserves the right to cancel any scheduled event up to 7 days before its occurrence if there is an insufficient number of registrants required to conduct the event. In the event a workshop is canceled or rescheduled by FMHCA, the attendee has the right to a full refund.

Refund Process:

Refunds will be issued through the original payment method to the original payee.

No Show and Partial Attendance:

Any participant not checked in by the training start time will be considered a "No Show," resulting in the cancellation of the seat, registration, and credits without a refund.

No refunds will be provided for "No Shows," partial attendance, late arrivals, early departures, or incomplete training.

Professional Conduct:

Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and ethically throughout the training.

FMHCA reserves the right to request a participant to leave the training if their behavior is deemed unprofessional or unethical, leading to the cancellation of their registration without refunds.

Recording Policy:

Participants are strictly prohibited from recording training sessions through electronic devices (audio/video) or distributing any recorded content.

Cancellation Policy:

More than 60 days prior to the start of the conference: 50% refund.

30-59 days prior to the start of the conference: 25% refund.

Less than 30 days prior to the start of the conference: No refunds will be issued.
