Description: Reunification is court-ordered when a child resists or refuses timesharing with a parent. Judges, attorneys, mediators, and even therapists who have no idea why a child is resisting or refusing frequently recommend reunification. But is this in the best interest of the child? How does this work? Is it therapy or a process? Unless you have been trained in this area, you may be adding to the problem instead of promoting healing.
