Description: This program will review the development and application of the Complete Mental Status Evaluation. Prior research and application will be discussed, as well as new developments from the clinical and neuropsychological perspectives. This program will review current uses of the evaluation and it's efficiency. CMSE is a straightforward, concise, and complete instrument that can be utilized with diverse population, which includes clients not only with neurological damage, but also those with psychiatric and psychological difficulties. CMSE training is a learning approach that will create a standardized approach in assessing Mental Status.

Learning Objectives:
Dr. Eric Y. Reznik is a clinical and forensic psychologist. He holds a Master’s Degree and a Doctoral Degree in Clinical and Forensic Psychology. Since 1998, he taught as an adjunct at multiple colleges and universities, and currently teaching at Barry University. Dr. Reznik worked with populations ranging from young children to older adults. He also worked with multicultural clinical and forensic clientele and in public and private practice. Dr. Reznik developed Complete Mental Status Evaluation scale after many years of providing psychological therapy and assessments in various and diverse settings. Additionally, he has developed a Therapeutic Martial Arts program modality and currently is in the publishing a book about the program.
