Description: As counseling professionals increasingly navigate legal and advocacy roles, the ability to testify on behalf of clients becomes paramount. This program addresses the gap in counselor education by providing counselor educators with the necessary knowledge and skills to train students in this essential competency. Testifying requires a unique set of skills that goes beyond traditional counseling, and this program aims to bridge that divide.

About the Presenter:

Kendria Brown, LMHC is the owner of Lifepath Counseling and a dedicated doctoral student at Walden University. She is also a qualitative researcher and counselor educator.
