Description: Covid 19 isolation led to recognition of Workplace Trauma as beyond stress and more pervasive than previously acknowledged. When removed from toxic environments, the “quiet quitting” backlash was as much a mental health revolt as rejection of job dissatisfaction. Discover some old techniques in new applications for treatment of workplace trauma and build client self-advocacy

About the Presenter:

Dr Kathie Erwin is a Professor at Divine Mercy University School of Counseling. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, National Certified Gerontological Counseling and AMHCA Diplomate in Geriatric Counseling. Dr Erwin was appointed Fulbright Specialist teaching at University of Iceland. She has served as Secretary/Board Member and is President Elect for Florida Mental Health Counselors Association. She is also a Board Member of Green Cross Academy of Traumatology. A Master Field Traumatologist, Dr Erwin has served as team leader in Trinidad, India, and Romania. She taught trauma counseling for Ukraine Project including distance support for Ukrainian counselors impacted by the war.
