Description: In this 7 hour interactive workshop, you will learn how to identify the language of the client & presuppositions they are engaging & how they are literally creating & sustaining so-called “problem states” & desired states. You will learn how to work directly with the deeper structure of language (& its impact on how we express neurally – neural expression) & how to build sensory-rich & distinctive representations that drive & create desired changes & achieve desired solution states with clients. The patterns & techniques will be demonstrated & participants will be provided the opportunity to practice the specific skills with direct supervision. There will be a question & answer period as well.

Learning Objectives:

1. Learn, identify, utilize & demonstrate advanced communication & language patterns to assist in conducting change (therapy) & increasing the effectiveness of changework.

2. Improve recognition & the use of multi-level & hypnotic communications in specific situations you may encounter in mental health counseling.

3. Begin to demonstrate & use the above techniques more naturalistically & proficiently in practices conversationally.

4. Learn & demonstrate the recognition & use of presuppositions involved in communications & changework as well as trancework.

5. Learn & demonstrate the use of generative inquiry (& questioning) asking questions that help clients to do desired responses & to direct consciousness towards more productive solution designs & applications.

6. Learn & demonstrate how to use metaphorical communications through conversations to make shifts in consciousness supporting the client’s well-formed (desired) outcomes.

7. Learn, demonstrate & utilize skills for various forms of reframing, including content & context.
