This seminar will discuss exposure and response prevention and how it is used to treat OCD.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the criteria of OCD.
  2. Understand the basics of Exposure Response Prevention (ERP).
  3. Learn how to come up with the appropriate exposures.
  4. Learn how to create a fear hierarchy to guide treatment.

About the Presenter:


Michael Ricci is a registered mental health counseling intern, currently working at Integrity Counseling. Michael specializes in the treatment of OCD and anxiety. He attended University of Florida where he was first exposed to ERP treatment at UF Health's Department of Medical Psychology. In addition to his work at Integrity Counseling, Michael also works at Rogers Behavioral Health, one of the leading OCD treatment centers in the country.
